In-service training most common in large enterprises
Employees working in the largest enterprises took most part in in-service training. 58 per cent of employees working at establishments with at least 500 staff participated in in-service training. Employees of establishments with at least 200 but under 500 staff took part almost as much in training.

More than 60 per cent of employees work in small enterprises (an establishment with fewer than five employees). Employees working in these enterprises participate less than average in in-service training.
Employees of enterprises with 50 to 499 staff had the highest number of training days, that is, five days, on average.
