Building costs rose by 0.2 per cent in May year-on-year

According to Statistics Finland, building costs rose by 0.2 per cent in May 2024 from one year back. Among materials, the biggest increases in the year were recorded in soil (5.2%). Costs decreased most in the year in steel structures (-10.8%) and precast concrete units (-10.4%).
