According to Statistics Finland's preliminary data, Finland's population was 5,619,399 at the end of July. Our country's population increased by 15,548 persons during January–July. The reason for the increase was migration gain from abroad, since immigration exceeded emigration by 25,025. The number of births was 7,562 lower than that of deaths.
