Description

The child maintenance allowance is a Kela benefit aimed at providing economic security to children who do not receive child support from a liable parent. Kela is also responsible for the collection of overdue child support payments.The statistics on child maintenance allowances offer an overall picture of the child maintenance allowance scheme operated by Kela. They provide statistical data on allowance recipients and children covered by the scheme as well as on the allowances paid out and the child support payments collected.
