Methodological description of Quarterly National Accounts

The methodological description of Quarterly National Accounts contains descriptions of how Quarterly National Accounts are compiled in Finland in accordance with the European System of Accounts (ESA95).

The description only extends to Quarterly Accounts proper, in other words Quarterly Sector Accounts and Quarterly Financial Accounts are not covered by this document. The methodological description contains sections on the general architecture of the compilation system, calculation methods by different approaches (production, expenditure, income), methods of balancing, benchmarking and seasonal adjustment of the accounts, and the main data sources.
