Turnover in service industries went up by 0.4 per cent in August to October from the corresponding time period of the year before
Turnover in service industries went up by 0.4 per cent in August to October from the corresponding time period of the year before. One year previously, turnover in service industries grew by 3.4 per cent. Growth in service industries has been clearly slower in the January to October period of 2013 than in the previous year. Services are here examined exclusive of trade.
Three months' year-on-year change in turnover in services (TOL 2008)
Turnover increased a little in the August to October period in all main service industries apart from transportation and storage, where the decrease from the corresponding period of the previous year amounted to 1.6 per cent. Turnover developed most favourably in other service activities, where turnover grew by 2.0 per cent. Real estate activities also increased by 1.9 per cent and turnover in information and communication enterprises went up by 1.8 per cent from the respective period of the year before.
