Building costs grew by 0.5 per cent year-on-year in October

According to Statistics Finland, building costs were 0.5 per cent higher in October 2013 than in October of the previous year. The prices of labour inputs in construction went up by 1.6 per cent, the prices of materials went down by 0.3 per cent, and those of other inputs went up by 1.2 per cent from one year ago.

From September to October, the total index of building costs rose by 0.1 per cent. The prices of labour went up by 0.4 per cent, the prices of materials remained unchanged, and those of other inputs went down by 0.5 per cent.
