Building costs grew by 0.8 per cent year-on-year in December

According to Statistics Finland, building costs were 0.8 per cent higher in December 2013 than in December of the previous year. The prices of labour inputs in construction went up by 1.6 per cent, the prices of materials grew by 0.1 per cent, and those of other inputs increased by 1.9 per cent from one year ago.

From November to December, the total index of building costs fell by 0.1 per cent. The prices of labour remained unchanged, the prices of materials went down by 0.2 per cent and those of other inputs went up by 0.1 per cent.
