Building costs grew by 0.5 per cent year-on-year in March

According to Statistics Finland, building costs were 0.5 per cent higher in March 2015 than in March of the previous year. The prices of labour inputs in construction increased by 1.2 per cent. The prices of materials went up by 0.2 per cent and the prices of other inputs went down by 0.1 per cent from one year ago.

Building cost index 2010=100

From February to March, the total index of building costs remained nearly unchanged. The prices of labour inputs and materials went up slightly. The prices of other inputs fell by 0.1 per cent from the previous month.
