Building costs rose by 0.5 per cent in August in year-on-year
According to Statistics Finland, building costs were 0.5 per cent higher in August 2015 than in August of the previous year. The prices of labour inputs in construction went up by 0.7 per cent and the prices of materials by 0.3 per cent. The prices of other inputs increased by 1.5 per cent from one year back.
Building cost index 2010=100
From July to August, the total index of building costs rose by 0.2 per cent. The prices of labour inputs remained unchanged in August from the previous month. The prices of materials went up by 0.3 per cent, while those of other inputs went down slightly from the previous month.
