Turnover of construction enterprises grew by close on one per cent year-on-year in August to October
The turnover of construction enterprises increased by 0.8 per cent in August to October 2013 from the year before. The turnover of specialised construction activities went up by 2.5 per cent. The turnover of building construction, in turn, declined by 0.5 per cent and that of civil engineering by 0.2 per cent from twelve months earlier.

The sales volume of construction enterprises was 0.9 per cent up year-on-year in August to October 2013. The sales volume of specialised construction activities grew by 1.5 per cent. In building construction, the sales volume contracted by 1.4 per cent and in civil engineering by 0.5 per cent.
The volume index of enterprises’ sales is calculated by removing the effect of price changes from the turnover index series.
