Information on the industry structure and data revisions of new orders in manufacturing

Starting from the data for June 2018, new orders in manufacturing has abandoned the sub-industries of the textile industry (TOL 13-14) when calculating the aggregate index of manufacturing. Therefore, the data for 2018 may become slightly revised for previously published months.

In the statistics on new orders in manufacturing, the concept manufacturing covers, starting from the publication of data for June 2018, TOL 2008 industries: 17, 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30. The publication covers the following main industries of manufacturing: the manufacture of paper and paper products, the chemical industry and the metal industry.
