Number of persons receiving Finnish citizenship grew in 2022

According to Statistics Finland, Finnish citizenship was granted in 2022 to 10,198 foreign citizens permanently resident in Finland. Altogether, 3,555 more Finnish citizenships were granted than in 2021. In relative terms, the number grew by 54 per cent from the previous year.
