According to Statistics Finland's data, Finnish enterprises had business activity in 5,480 affiliates located in 134 countries in 2021. Finnish enterprises abroad employed 587,630 persons. Over 67 %, or EUR 238 billion, of the enterprises’ turnover was generated in EU countries. Of individual countries, most turnover was generated in Germany. EUR 6.3 billion was invested abroad.
