According to Statistics Finland, 339 bankruptcy proceedings were instigated in October 2024, which is 70 more than in the corresponding period one year earlier. The number of staff-years in enterprises that filed for bankruptcy totalled 1,469, which is 305 staff-years more than in October 2023.
