Environmental protection expenditure continued growing in 2022

According to Statistics Finland, environmental protection expenditure still continued growing in 2022 and totalled EUR 5.3 billion. The growth from the previous year amounted to five per cent. The use of environmental protection services grew relatively slightly more than environmental protection investments. The biggest change concerned the category of ambient air and climate protection expenditure.
