Volume of goods transported by lorries decreased in the fourth quarter of 2023

According to Statistics Finland, a total of 53 million tonnes of goods were transported by lorries in domestic road transport in the fourth quarter of 2023. Compared to the previous year, the volume of transported goods decreased by 9 %. The transport performance decreased by 24 % and was 5.2 billion tonne-kilometers.
