Special courts

Statistics
Discontinued:
These statistics describe cases instigated and decided by special courts. Special courts comprise the Market Court, Labour Court and Insurance Court Tribunal. The Market Court is a special court established in place of the Competition Council and the Market Court, which handles cases concerning market rights, competition rights and public procurement. The Labour Court solves disputes arising from the application and interpretation of collectively bargained agreements, and handles breaches of industrial peace. The Insurance Court handles accident insurance cases, and cases relating to employment and national pensions, unemployment security, military injury, state study aid and criminal liability. Cases relating to personal insurance, such as motor car or home insurance, are not handled by the Insurance Court.

Detailed tables of the discontinued statistics are available in the StatFin archive database
