Periodical regional survey of trade
Discontinued:
The periodical regional survey of trade describes the number and turnover of local units (outlets) engaged in retail trade sales and the sales floor areas of enterprises engaged in retail trade in different areas of Finland. The periodical regional survey of trade is carried out as an inquiry directed to enterprises and establishments in so far as register data are not available. The sample is formed of the largest enterprises and establishments in the industry plus enterprises drawn by random selection. The size of the sample remains fairly constant in each inquiry. The obtained data are methodologically inflated to represent the whole industry of retail trade. The survey is made every five years.
Detailed tables of the discontinued statistics are available in the StatFin archive database
