Altogether 8.4 per cent of personal care workers were of foreign background in 2021

According to Statistics Finland, the most common occupational group for employed persons at the end of 2021 was personal care workers with 196,000 employees. In this occupational group, 16,500 persons were of foreign background, or 8.4 per cent of the employed persons in the occupational group. Of all employed persons, 8.3 per cent were of foreign background.
