According to Statistics Finland's preliminary data, the productivity of private sector labour decreased by 0.3 per cent in 2023. The change became negative due to a methodological update in which the industry of housing was removed from the examination group of productivity indicators. The trend in labour productivity has been growing slowly since the mid-2010s.
