Growth and productivity measures expand national accounts and there changes in value added, output and labour productivity are broken down into components, which allows examination of the reasons for changes. The data are compiled from several sources and preliminary data is published in the summer following the statistical year, followed by a revised publication in the winter after.

Calculation methods are updated and new database tables are published and old database tables are archived in the statistics on growth and productivity measures.
