Number of people at risk of poverty or social exclusion 873,000 in 2022

According to Statistics Finland, 873,000 persons or 15.9 per cent of the household population were at risk of poverty or social exclusion in 2022. The growth in the number of persons at risk halted. Persons living in low income households, households with low work intensity or households that experience severe material and social deprivation are considered being at risk of poverty or social exclusion.
