This corresponds to 279,000 persons. The number was the same as in the previous year when it grew. In relative terms, one-person households were most burdened by housing costs, 14.1 per cent of them.

- In one-person households, 14.1 per cent of persons were burdened by housing costs, in households of childless couples 1.6 per cent and in families with children 2.5 per cent.
- In all, 12.7 per cent of those living in rented dwellings and 1.6 per cent of those living in owner-occupied dwellings were burdened by housing costs.
- In one-person households living in rented dwellings, the share of persons burdened by housing costs was 21.9 per cent.
- In 2021 and 2022, the shares of persons burdened by housing costs in the household population were around one percentage point higher than in previous years starting from 2015.
